1.6. Does solar fountain or solar well pump system need sunshine?

Yes, our solar fountain and solar well pump system need sunshine. The electrical output of photovoltaic (PV) cell is dependent upon the intensity of the light to which it is exposed. So PV cells will tend to generate more electricity on bright days than when skies are overcast. However, PV cells do not need to be in direct sunlight to work, so even on overcast days a PV cell will be generating some electricity. As PV cell provided by us is very efficient and effective, so the solar fountain sometimes run even in drizzly weather.

1.7. Will solar fountain or solar well pump system function well in the winter?

Yes, as long as it's not freezing in the fountain body or deep well. In a freezing case, any solar pump must be disconnected; otherwise it may try to work in the ice when receiving a light of sunshine. You can plug it again when it's nice, because solar fountains and solar well pump systems will work just as well on a sunny day in January as they do in the summer.

1.12 How to install the solar fountain kit or solar well pump system?

1. The Solarkey solar fountain kits or solar well pump system have been designed to use for fountain, waterfall feature or deep well pumping. The pump derives its power directly from a solar module. In order for the pump to operate in best performance, the solar panel needs to be placed in direct sunlight. The performance of the pump depends on the season and the position of the solar module.
2. Place the pump underwater making sure that when the pump operates, it is fully immersed underwater. 3. Please note: When first used, there may be air in the pump. It can take up to 5 minutes for the air to escape.

1.13 Can the pump run in a high temperature water?

The application haven't been tested yet. Some dealers have already used this pump on open solar thermal systems for water supply. As long as the circulating water temperature is not over 60 degrees and the difference of the daily's temperature between hot and cold water is not over 40 degree, there is no problem.
